WHAT WE STAND FOR

NEW YORK CITY SAYS HANDS OFF

American cities are under attack by the Trump administration. The illegal deployment of the National Guard in Los Angeles, Washington D.C, Chicago, Memphis, and Portland is an assault on our rights and values.

This is not about crime. The crime rates in each of the targeted cities have been going down, not up. What they do share is strong, multi-racial, union power — and city leadership that refuses to bow down.

Tax dollars should strengthen our cities, not tear families apart. Public funds should strengthen schools, hospitals, and safe neighborhoods — not build detention centers and occupy our cities.

Together, we can win. We pledge to organize together, build local power, and stand in solidarity with every city facing military occupation. Our cities and our people are our greatest strength.

Hands Off NYC is rooted in nonviolence. We encourage participants to de-escalate any potential conflict. We do not condone property damage, physical violence, or the presence of weapons at any of our events.
