Want to do your part to ensure the upcoming primaries for our midterm elections? We know there is growing anxiety around our elections and a strong desire to understand what can be done to protect our democracy—to ensure that every eligible New Yorker can cast their ballot and have it counted.

Join us to become a trained volunteer for poll monitoring! With us, you will learn how to support your neighbors—and yourself—by understanding your voting rights, de-escalation techniques, and how to respond to issues at the polls.

Hands Off Our Vote is a coordinated effort led by Common Cause New York and partners across the state.

We are far from powerless in protecting the lifeblood of our democracy—the right to vote. But it will take all of us doing everything we can: strengthening our laws, encouraging participation, and supporting voters at the polls. See you at the training!

This training is for new volunteers and experienced organizers alike. You’ll be able to take these materials and train your own community after participating.
