December 12-14
On November 15th, the Hands Off NYC network hosted over 60 events.
We talked with our neighbors, distributed whistles and Know Your Rights cards, canvassed businesses, made comics and crafts, hosted park playdates, and more!
Real organizing happens locally, and we need your help to do it again—bigger, and better.
Event Ideas
Business Canvassing
Help us reach our goal of canvassing 2000 businesses in one weekend! Inform businesses of their rights, what do to if ICE shows up, drop off Know Your Rights materials, and make local connections.
Our business canvassing kits and Zoom trainings next week will give you all you need to join in on this citywide effort.
Whistle Distribution
Whistles can be a powerful tool, and a great way to do outreach in your community! Whistles help us notify nearby community members when ICE is in the area.
Our whistles and whistle cards help everyday New Yorkers know what to do when ICE is around. They also help strike up a conversation, and bring more people into our movement. Check out how to use them in our resource library.
